Best for: Easy access to hiking, Banff attractions, and Rocky Mountain scenery

2. Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park – Milk River

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this park offers stunning hoodoos, and a picturesque campground right beside the Milk River. A perfect mix of culture and nature located southeast of Lethbridge.

Best for: Nature lovers, kayakers, and quiet getaways

3. Dinosaur Campground, Dinosaur Provincial Park – Brooks

Camp among the badlands and ancient fossils in another UNESCo world heritage site at this one-of-a-kind destination. The views are unreal, and be sure to check out the visitor centre guided fossil tours are a must. But make a note, this is NOT Drumheller!
Best for: Families, geology lovers, and unique landscapes

A beautiful campground in southern Alberta with waterfront sites, boat launch access, and peaceful vibes. East of Lethbridge and South West of Medicine Hat.
Best for: Lake lovers and anyone wanting a quiet retreat.
RV Tip: All sites have power and access to potable water, and some sites offer sewer hook up.

Right inside the quaint town of Waterton, this spot offers walkable access to restaurants, hikes, and boat tours.Waterton National Park is located in the extreme south west corner of Alberta.
Best for: National park lovers and those who want amenities nearby
